How programs work

A straightforward process designed to support laboratories seeking clear program information and a credible proficiency testing partner.

01 – Review scope

Identify the testing category and method set relevant to your laboratory and accreditation needs.

02 – Register interest

Submit an enquiry so your team can receive program information, timing, and participation details.  Early registration is welcomed by contacting us via email.

Alternately an Expression of Interest form will be emailed to those on our distribution lists three weeks prior to each test, if you’d like to be added to the list to ensure you don’t miss out on any proficiency programs please contact us.

03 – Participate

Conlaps will procure and sample consistent test material and issue to all participants, along with a set of Test Instructions.  Participants then complete the relevant proficiency testing round in line with the applicable program requirements.

04 – Receive outcomes

Conlaps will collate all participant results and conduct statistical analysis, providing robust z-scores for each test metric.  Final summary report and statistical evaluation (robust z-scores) issued to each participant to inform quality assurance and ongoing laboratory performance.
